Although it was for one night, Yumiko-san really made it felt as if I was back at Ma’s, but with a cooler breeze and a view of Mt. Fuji to boot. Bedroom was neat, tidy, clean, and the rest of it, along with facilities that were more than sufficient for my stay. Yumiko-san also helped with some recommending on what to do throughout your stay, so feel free to share her your plans in the Fuji Area. P.s. If you’re a Muslim like me, make sure to let her know so that she’ll accomodate your breakfast accordingly.

A friendly family, they greeted us very hospitably and told us the history of the house and family. Very clean, there is a refrigerator, personal towels, hot and cold drinking water, hygiene items, tea and coffee available. The architecture of the house is traditionally Japanese. Bed-mattresses on the floor, very comfortable and convenient. The best wood bath in my life.

The 1-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The best position in Lake Yamanakako to view the Mt. Fuji! I can even view it from my room. Rooms are clean and comfy with a truly reasonable price. The host did speak great English and offered free bicycles. It was an awesome stay. Thanks :)

He picked us up from the station and we got surprised by a room with a picture perfect view on Mt. Fuji and a cup of tea. Beautiful! On the day of check-out he gave us a ride back to the station. Minutes later I found out I left my AirPods in the room... But the host immediately drove back as quick as he could to bring them back to me, just in time to get my bus! 10 star service!

The staff is nice and helpful, the house is comfortable both common spaces and also the beds, which are double sized. Each bed has its own curtains and fan (important for summer!). Having the option of taking a bike and ride to the lakes is a big plus. Highly recommended. Yuka was super nice, smiley and helpful during the stay. Would repeat, no doubts.
