At the end of our Japanese adventure we were weighed down with more luggage than when we arrived, and the owner was kind enough to pick us up at the train station by car. The accommodations were beautiful with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. The rooms were very cozy, ours even had a large TV. There are two toilets and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It tends to be busier when there are more guests, but fortunately everyone respects the curfew. The guests very willingly and voluntarily transported us into town the next day, for which we thank them very much. The accommodation was right next to the konbini so a real win.

The setting of the place was remarkable, situated right across from Mt Fuji. Fortunately, during my two-day stay, the weather was clear, allowing for unobstructed views of the mountain. The room, ideally sized for a couple, featured a wardrobe for storing our luggage. The pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the room maintained a cozy warmth, thanks to the air conditioners and bed warmers.

The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left. The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there). Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!
