The location was beautiful, hidden off the historic road lined by giant cedar trees.

This was a lovely place, they were waiting for us with a map and a lot of information of the city, the room was big, a lot of space to save stuff. The breakfast were incredible and free! i really loved it , and even when we returned in the night they have some fruits and miso for us they were really kind and a lovely persons, I felt like home.

We were made to feel so welcomed by Mariko. Such a kind hearted lady. Her warmth and positivity was inspiring. She made us a delicious breakfast full of fresh fruit and nice coffee every morning. Fantastic location, wonderful and helpful host - it felt like home. The pictures on the booking site does not do this place justice - it was so nice. And there is even a light breakfast.

The location is stunning, nestled in nature beside a forest and stream, just a 5 min drive from Toshogu temples and Nikko’s main street. A car is recommended to explore the nearby national parks and onsens. Masayuki is a thoughtful host who looks after his guests with care. The apartment is on the top floor and it's well equipped with a private kitchen and bathroom. We especially appreciated the delicious strawberries he shared, thank you!! We hope to return and see more of this beautiful region
