Our host Yumiko was adorable and took many initiatives to make our stay better organised and suggest activities and recommend places to eat.

Great location, near fujisan trail (station 0) and near the bus to station 5. They also have a mini onsen for those weary legs.

The 1-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. 3-5minute walk to the bus stop (we caught the bus from Mt Fuji station). The rooms were sparkling clean, tatami mats were comfier than our previous hotel beds, the kitchen was great for cooking a home cooked meal with full utensils available. The free bikes were a highlights for us! We used them for a full day and got to visit local food spots (Yamanaka Terrace was our favourite cafe), bike up a hill to a short 20minute view spot of Mt Fuji, and around Lake Yamanaka. The owner was super hospitable and helpful. We hope to come back and visit again one day 😊 thank you!

He gave us an onsen bath and helped wherever he could. The accommodation is in a residential area and didn't feel very touristy and we were able to relax. The accommodation has a great charm and the rooms are very traditional. We'll be back!
