Comfortable Accommodations: LINK HOUSE in Fujiyoshida offers a guest house with free WiFi, air-conditioning, and a balcony with mountain views. Each room includes a work desk, wardrobe, and tatami flooring. Yumiko was the best host you could have. She was very informative and helpful. I mentioned my plan to climb Mt.Fuji from station 0 and she gave me information about the mountain itself/traditions and which way to go. She also helped me figure out where to get dinner the day before, as it can be a bit difficult for a vegetarian like me. The house itself was very clean, comfortable and the breakfast was both tasty and healthy. Ps. I successfully climbed Mt.Fuji!

The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left. The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there). Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!
