This place was amazing, we loved that the rooms are very Japanese style, clean and the beds are comfortable. The host Kevin was extremely nice and kind. Prior to our arrival I asked the hotel if they could put some bday note for my husband since it was his birthday, and they went above and beyond, they put bday notes all over the room and even had a delicious cake for us! Also, Kevin gave us different options of events that we could attend and even offer a ride to the train station when we checked out. Definitely this was one our favorites places that we stayed in our trip around Japan. I can’t recommend enough! Thank you so much Kevin!!

Kayoko is a perfect and always smiling host. She goes out of her way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfasts are simply amazing. Every morning there is a different menu composed from local specialities. Location of the guest house is also a benefit - very close to both Nijo Castle and Imperial Palace.

Very nice & heathly cafe within the hotel. The staff was very nice and we could rent bikes for the day. Amazing design, very clean and neat hotel !

Very clean and comfortable room and bathroom, very nice, kind and helpful the owner of the house and family, tasty breakfast. Kyo-Anthu Inn's family made me feel very good and comfortable in this house.

The room was quite big and I loved having a balcony. It was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed having a kitchen with a fridge, microwave and stove. And even a washing machine.

It’s in a quite area where you can reach there by bus only. Bus runs very frequently but it takes 1 hour to go to city. There are markets and restaurants. Some close early. Closest pub is 15 min by walk. Room is super cozy, they offer free bikes. There is venting machine outside.
