For sleeping there are 2 separate rooms in classic Japanese style with tatami + futon and 2 dorms with bunk beds. Facilities squeaky clean. We had a lot of fun meeting all downstairs in the common area in the evening. Highly recommend to anyone not fussy. It was an absolute blast and would definitely stay again!

The location was perfect as well, walking distance to many things.

The location is good and easy to get to the train to visit the tourist part of Nikko. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole place is very clean. We loved the snacks provided for everyone. There are great cafe/restaurants nearby and a big supermarket all within walking distance. I recommend going to a breakfast cafe called Morinoshizuku!
