Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax. Lovely staff and very clean property. We stayed in the dorm room and it was spacious and the facilities were all very well kept. Quick walk to the train/bus station and lots of restaurants and shop also a short walk away

It is situated 10 km from Toson Memorial Museum and features a shared kitchen. The guest house has family rooms. Hotel is very clean and staffs are very helpful. At the back of the hotel is the Kiso mountains, paddy rice fields are around it, and a creek running in front of it. At night when you open the window, you hear frogs singing all around. There is a K bus a few yards away, it takes you to Nagatsugawa station, from there you can go anywhere. The rooms are tiny but have everything you need. If you visit that area, you won't feel regret to spend a few days there.

Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, certain units at the homestay also provide guests with a terrace. At the homestay, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The host was super sweet. She will make sure you make the best of your time in Gifu. I didn’t have much of an itinerary so she voluntarily made dinner and brought me to a mountaintop onsen. She will fuss over you like a mom would. I had a mosquito bite and she was so stressed! Her home was also very clean and comfortable. She made a wonderful breakfast for me before I left. This stay was one of the best memories of Japan and I hope to stay here again. Oh and she is very easy to contact with. She speaks minimal English but is very efficient over electronic communications. She also offers to drive you from to and from the station. I really can’t say enough good things!

I felt so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautifully maintained, traditional Japanese style house. Assi was a great host, he has gone to the trouble to provide all the little touches around the house and the local information a guest might need. The place is very quiet but a very short walk from the train station and some food options too.

Do not take a bus to Magome, instead, start walking from Ochiai (中山道石標), so you won't miss the cobblestone path.

You are a very special person Toki and definitely a highlight of our trip. Toki was very helpful with organising things with and for us and Iwamura is a beautiful quiet town with no westerners.
