If you’re looking for a place to stay for 4 or 6 people - look no further. We’ve been travelling for 25 days in Japan with our family of 4 and this has been our best experience. We arrived after riding our bikes all day and were greeted by the hosts with hot orange juice, tips on where to get food and even got a lift to get take out as they informed us the best restaurants might be closing soon. Our kids even got a present in the morning. Everything in the room is thought out - the bunk beds are bigger than normal with power outlets. There are Imabari towels. The showerhead is glorious. There is a lot more space then the pictures give away and you wake up with amazing sea view. If you’re doing the Shimanami Kaido or are looking for a place near the beach - stay here.

They showed us a local onsen, and on our second night, they prepared a wonderful dinner with homemade udon. We also got to try real matcha, which was such a lovely touch. This stay became one of the most memorable moments of our entire trip. I truly hope to visit this beautiful home again in the future.
