Nice bathroom with separated toilet. Glimpse of Mt Fuji from the 1st floor apartment window. We only spent one night but found this to be the best value option in Kofu. Self check in was a multi step process as some of the reviews say buy it's ok if you follow the instructions in the right order. Have fun with it!

It is located 11 km from Lake Kawaguchi and provides a shared kitchen. Guests can make use of a garden. At the end of our Japanese adventure we were weighed down with more luggage than when we arrived, and the owner was kind enough to pick us up at the train station by car. The accommodations were beautiful with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. The rooms were very cozy, ours even had a large TV. There are two toilets and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It tends to be busier when there are more guests, but fortunately everyone respects the curfew. The guests very willingly and voluntarily transported us into town the next day, for which we thank them very much. The accommodation was right next to the konbini so a real win.

Nonna Milli was incredible- the beds were exceptionally comfortable, especially as Elia and his wife had them custom made for extra thickness. We woke up more comfortable than when we went to bed! The house is so beautifully kept and restored, with everything so well thought out- it felt very special staying in this house being our first time in Japan. Everything was immaculately clean. Sharing the bathroom was no problem at all, we didn’t even feel like it was a shared bathroom it was always available for us. A highly memorable experience in Matsumoto!

The staff were a true highlight of the stay. they were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was just great and we plan to return next season.

The property offers soundproof units and is situated 31 km from Phoenix Plaza. Hosts were very accommodating despite speaking little English and my limited Japanese. Translation app overcame that barrier. A stocked fridge and comprehensive facilities made my stay very enjoyable. I was able to cook a simple meal, and do some laundry without having to leave the guesthouse in the heavy snow! The cherry on top was the owner driving me to the dinosaur museum in the morning. Very unexpected but much appreciated.
