The hosts, a lovely local family, were extremely nice and welcoming. They were happy to chat, gave us useful information and cooked delicious dinners for us when we came back from visiting the sites. It was a great pleasure to stay with them and we really enjoyed their company and warm hospitality.

For a one-night stop in Dana this is a perfectly good budget option. I informed the staff that I planned to leave at about 7 am, and they kindly agreed to serve breakfast earlier than usual. Actually, I was ready to leave about 6:30, and they still prepared a simple but adequate breakfast for me. Much appreciated!

He also supplied us with lunch boxes for our day in Petra! The location was very close to the entrance to Petra which was very nice. I would highly recommend staying here!

We really liked our stay there ! Saddam and his family are very kind and welcoming. They are always willing to help you during your stay. You can take a big diner at home for a fair price. They also propose lunch box if you need. The rooms are big and clean. The location is very good, near the entrance of Petra , there is many convenients stores and restaurants around. Zayid and Saddam were wonderful hosts. They stayed in contact before our stay, during, and after our stay. Continually checking how we were doing, offering advice for planning, and willing to help with whatever we needed. The guest home is on the top floor of Saddam’s family home. We always had privacy, and also always had someone nearby if we needed any assistance. Saddam offered to guide us around Petra for a FRACTION of what a guide costs from the visitor’s center. The tour with Saddam was an absolute highlight. He took us off the beaten path, away from all the tourists, we visited a Bedouin stone hut and were welcomed by the women there. We looked down over the treasury from a wonderful photo point, and Saddam was an amazing guide and photographer for the whole excursion. Zayid offered us a home cooked local meal at the house. It was a delicious meal, beautiful experience, and a very reasonable price. The home is lovely. The hosts are what made it perfect.

At the homestay, all units have bed linen and towels. Mahmoud was an excellent host, he helped us with the return transport. The rooms are very comfortable, shared bathrooms are very clean, the house is very close to the city and a 20-minute walk to Petra. definitely highly recommended

The location is absolutely stunning, overlooking the Dana Biosphere Reserve — the view from the terrace is breathtaking, especially at sunset. The hotel is simple but clean and comfortable, offering all the basic essentials a traveler needs. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, prepared in a traditional local style, and the overall atmosphere felt warm and genuinely welcoming. The owners are kind and very helpful — they even organized a short hiking trip for us around the area, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit.
