Our second visit to Montalbera. A great stop whilst heading further South in Italy. Superb rooms (Wine Suites) with excellent wine in the minibar! There is no restaurant here but you really dont need it. There are plenty local restaurants. We bought cured meats and cheeses prior to arrival and enjoyed a wine based dinner!! Beautiful setting and very quiet!

The apartment is very warm and cozy during the colder autumn mornings. Every little detail in the accommodation is thought of, from the amenities in the bathroom to silverware and all sorts of machines in the kitchenette (fully stocked with everything needed for a lovely DIY Italian breakfast). Incredible view from the balconies.

Host and staff are very friendly, charming. Sparkling clean room, lovely restaurant. The continental breakfast was beautiful. On the clear morning that we left, there was a view of the mountains out the hall windows. Room had a courtyard view. Quiet little village.

Fantastic accommodation. Calm and soothing. Large rooms that are almost like apartments. Very abundant and tasty breakfast. Nadia is a very nice host. We chose to eat dinner, which was wonderfully good and reasonably priced. We highly recommend a stay.

Fausto and his family are great hosts. The room was very comfortable . The views are amazing. The swimming pool beautiful. Excellent breakfast and wonderful dinner and wine at the restaurant. Recommend without hesitation!
