All rooms at Guesthouse Vogafjos have a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Nice clean room, good beds, very nice lobby where you can see the cows while you eat. The kids liled being able to pet the cows, friendly staff. Good breakfast.

All we saw was snow and fog/ cloud. Iceland was having a late winter to mid-April.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Bathrooms are shared. The Elda House exceeded our expectations and was our favorite guesthouse we stayed at in Iceland. The facilities were very clean, staff was friendly, and the location was perfect for staying near Myvatan. We loved the concept of sharing a kitchen and bathroom with one other room. We also got to experience the magic of the Northern Lights right outside of our front door. It was truly a great stay and we plan to come back on our next trip!
