This is a great place to stay. The rooms are surrounded by beautiful gardens and it is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a home cooked dinner and breakfast as well. They provided information on activities and sightseeing; they helped book our bus ticket; they provided a wonderful breakfast (only 100 rupees) and offered us free or coffee throughout the day. They arranged for tuk tuks when needed. Located about a 15 minute walk to the center of Anachal on a quiet road. They offered for us to try on traditional Indian clothing which was a cool experience.

At the homestay, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Amazing. We had the warmest welcome from Benny and his family. The room is lovely with a balcony that overlooks beautiful scenery. It’s so picturesque. The food is without doubt the best we have tasted. But it was the warm hospitality and kindness that made this stay perfect. Benny shared his knowledge of the land with us, and Sheeja shared fresh homemade food beyond our expectations. We are traveling around Kerala, but I can’t imagine that we will find anywhere that surpasses Sceva’s Garden. It is near the tea estates and trips can be arranged, but in all honesty our favourite time was sitting on the balcony looking at the view.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and connect to a lovely sitting area surrounded by trees. A delicious breakfast made by the host was a real treat. Also has secure parking and was a perfect place to head out and explore on my motorcycle. Highly recommended.
