They provide a very useful list of everything you need to know while staying there - right down to directions to the house in Malayalam for a tuk tuk driver. The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and in a lovely peaceful location beside a canal. I really enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended.

In nice, small, quiet streets about 200m from the centre, well away from being hassled by auto drivers and restaurant owners. Beautiful singing from the local church on Sunday mornings. Unlike the centre, you can see and hear a lot of birds. The hosts are brilliant, communicating well and quickly on WhatsApp. They arranged to have our washing done, they even negotiated a lower price for us.

A recently renovated homestay set in Thekkady, Mountain View Homestay features a garden. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a terrace. It was really comfortable place and owner Afsal is so kind and he has peaceful mind. I had memorable time there with Afsal and some guests.
