We were traveling from Gokarna, and I had fever and was afraid it was denghe fever as I've had it twice before and it felt similar. John is a pharmacist and has a pharmacy opposite Villa cleto. He was so kind and helpful, and helped reassure us that it was nothing sinister like denghe and directed us to the local clinic for tests and indeed he was right. Villa cleto is perfectly located in the old latin quarter of Panjim, so full of traditional colonial character with great cafés and places to eat, shops and museums and places of interest. Overall Panjim is an absolute delight of a city too, so much to take in, so clean and so friendly and safe. Thank you John so much for your kindness and hospitality 🙏💚

It was also just a 15 minutes walk to the beach if you take a shortcut. And that really made it outstanding. Lots of eating joints also in walkable distance and convenient store to purchase anything and everything. Edward is very nice and guiding us in many things also in booking the tours and booking taxi. It was a very big help for us and we really enjoyed the stay and definitely plan to go again. Will definitely recommend it with a double 5 star .
