Paparisa is a brand new, small, private and secluded homestay with the nicest houses in Kri Island by far (compared to all the other homestays). The place has five "resort level" cosy houses with ensuite semi-open air bathroom (rare in Raja Ampat), big nice comfortable beds with mosquito net, a small private terrace in each house to relax or to watch the sunset and a small restaurant to enjoy your meals (they are building a nice sunset view big restaurant which they said will be ready by September 2025). They provide towels, toilet paper and linen so no need to bring yours. They have some toiletries but better bring some extra shampoo and shower gel for your convenience. Electricity is available almost half of the day and it is more than enough to charge anything in your room! The sea is just three meters from your door so you can easily swim whenever you want. This is also very convenient for diving or excursion's pickups as the boats pick you up straight from your door to go for diving or for a trip! Also, in walking distance you can snorkel in very amazing home reefs on your own. Paparisa rents for a small amount of money snorkeling equipment and these guys can also arrange several snorkeling trips to anywhere in the area. They also have contacts around so don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need! The communication before arrival through WhatsApp was exceptional and they have helped us a lot with our planning (the boat from Waisai to Kri arranged by them and a lot more). The food in the place is very tasty and feels like home and they are willing to cater any special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan etc).

The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by turquoise waters, coral reefs, and lush tropical nature. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help and share local stories. The bungalows are simple but clean and comfortable, offering an authentic island experience. Every day started with a breathtaking sunrise over the ocean and ended with the sound of waves under the stars. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the fish and local dishes. Snorkeling just in front of the homestay was amazing — colorful corals and countless fish! It was a peaceful and unforgettable stay in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Highly recommended!

The food was incredible and the room was very comfy. The house reef was beautiful and we saw mantas straight from our room! Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay.

The homestay has a nice small garden where we had breakfast. The owners also helped us to arrange our taxi next morning

She is very friendly and knowledgeable and we had a great time with her. She organized everything we needed and booked the trips for us.

Everything was so lovely. The family that runs this place is so welcoming and warm. They assist you with everything you need, the food is excellent and the place is magical
