We originally planned to stay 14 nights… but ended up staying four and a half weeks – and even that wasn’t enough. Arirang Homestay is the kind of place where you arrive and instantly know: This feels like home. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful location with views of the sea and the lush green valley is pure bliss. They ensure that the accommodation always looks better and better. Every morning we enjoyed a fresh and delicious breakfast, and whenever we needed anything, it was taken care of immediately – even arranging a scooter for us at a great price. But the most special thing? The staff are more than just friendly – they became family. We laughed together, shared stories, and even shed tears when it was time to say goodbye. We will absolutely be back – and once you’ve been here, you’ll understand why it’s so easy to fall in love with this place and its wonderful people. The location of this property was perfect as we rented bikes through the hotel and we rode to the other side of the island every night, and the owner always was willing to lend a helping hand when parking the bikes 🫶 The breakfast was delicious and prepared quickly with fresh fruits everyday. The owner/host was lovely, he greeted us everyday and asked of our plans so he could give advice on them and help us book a boat tour! Couldn’t recommend this place more!

-very friendly owners, I felt very welcome -the bathroom is huge and clean with really hot water and good water pressure -the room was big and spotless, there is plenty of space for luggage/ hiking gear -the breakfast was simple but delicious -there is only one power outlet in the room but they provided a connector strip so I was able to charge multiple devices

The room was very new and clean. Breakfast is delicious and included, there are many options to choose from. Lunch and dinner can be ordered as well and are very delicious. There are several trips you can book with them but if you want to do your own thing that's also fine. However besides the good room and delicious food, the main reason to go here is the lovely family. They are so nice and friendly and their children are adorable.

the location is amazing, the bungalows are located in the middle of the Tete Batu forrest. The staff is amazing, very sweet, they make the food in-house and make you feel part of the family. They bring you the food directly to the bungalow after ordering it through whatsapp. Very good local food at a very reasonable price.

Delicious breakfast included. We also had a wonderful dinner (extra pay) that was cooked for us by the owner. Absolutely amazing, friendly people and very cute little boy who run the Homestay. We loved the peace and quiet in the rice fields. Be aware that it is a more isolated location. We wished we had rented scooters to get around.

Avocado Homestay is a little gem. It’s still pretty new. The outside area is really nice. Beds are comfy. It has huge potential to be a very special place! Went for a sunset walk with the staff around the village and fields. +the avocados taste yummy. For dinner we went to his uncles place. So support this new homestay and create something beautiful
