I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at casa de vie homestay. I originally intended to see tumpak sewu waterfall from Milang but due t o mix up of waterfalls I got to see tumpak sewu from probilinggo which was a longer drive. So while in Milang I did some other things that worked out very well due to the helpfull friendly staff including Marsella and Riny. Marsella guided me on a tour of the colourfull village kampung tridi and kampung Warna warni. Riny helped organise a driver so I could see the Batu area where the climate is cooler. I went to the secret zoo, museum with many old cars and strawberry picking. Casa de Vie homesta is like a home away from home. I would love to come back one day

Everything was perfect! The owner helped us get a Bromo Tour. Also it was difficult finding a driver to transport us as we left but the owner dropped us at our next stay. Large bed, good shower and clean room. Just make sure you bring Some food and water as the nearest restaurant is a 22 minute walk.

Unfortunately our trip was far too short, but we will definetly come back! We received a very friendly welcome. The accommodation is really beautiful and lovingly furnished. Everything went very smoothly and if you want to go on a tour to the Meru Betiri or need a driver, the staff will help you organise it straight away! The host is also socially committed and supports the poorer people in the villages around Meru Betiri.

Our host set up our trekking tour for us with a great guide- everything included- which was so easy, and we had great laundry service done. Really a home away from home, and we only stayed a night, but wished we had stayed longer! Fryda and Imran are so lovely, and super helpful, even before arrival. She helped us with everything, especially as ijen was closed, and how to route to malang on a different train when the main one was full. They also prepared breakfast to go for us super early in the morning, and waited for our taxi with us. The loveliest people.
