We arrived quite late in the evening but Rani and Oussama made us feel really welcome from the start. The room has a comfortable bed, is lovingly furnished and is very clean. The views from the house are lovely. We booked the shorter tour to Gunung Bromo through Maison Manendra and that was very well organised and a nice surprise because the chosen route avoids most of the crowds (especially for the sunrise). The food shared around the big table on the rooftop terrace was always fresh and delicious and we had some very nice conversations with the other guests and also Rani and Oussama.

The location is excellent – very close to the beach, with nice places to eat nearby and a traditional market where you can buy local products. It’s also possible to rent a good-quality scooter and surfboard at affordable prices. Tina is a wonderful host – very friendly and helpful. She assisted us with everything, starting by sending us a list of all the places worth visiting. We felt really good staying here and honestly recommend it to everyone. :)
