The staff are lovely and friendly. The homestay is quiet which is nice. It’s also easy to organise the bromo hike and other tours from here. Nice quiet location not too far from town, a quick grab ride. The rooms were very clean and the shower is nice and hot with great water pressure.

Wonderful host. Accommodation is great value. Property, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were super clean. Bed and AC were comfortable. We booked the Ijen tour with the host Johan and had a great experience. Price seemed fair. We got helpful recommendations from Johan's nephew for local spots. Johan offers other tours we wished we could have taken advantage of (but we had to move on to our next destination). We'd stay here again!

A great location in the midst of nature, detached from others. Great view from the room and from the terrace, fresh air. Located between Malang and Bromo, so it is very convenient to go from the ecolodge to the Bromo tour. Scooters can be only rented on Malang, better to take minumun 120cc if you want to travel around, for example, to Sewu waterfall. Gojek works, but in the evening there maybe problems to get one, get a car in advance or ask the owner. The owners btw are very very cool and helpful! Thank you for helping us out!!!! Prepare warm clothes and socks.

one of the best accomodations we’ve ever stayed at. simple but perfectly set up facilities and room. the staff is extremely lovely and helpful, and Tina helped us to get to and from wherever we needed. when we return we will not bother looking at any other accomodation! We planned a 10 day tour of Bandung and started our trip with 4 nights stay at Rumah Lerang so that we could have a leisurely stay in the hills of Bandung to enjoy the fresh air and cool weather. We made the right choice to choose Rumah Lereng and enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Gugun and his wife, Pepit, are excellent hosts and Pepit is also an excellent cook. All our meals during our stay were prepared by Pepit and we loved all the food she cooked. We will surely be back again to Rumah Lereng!

Amazing property, such a nice place to spend time. The staff are wonderful. The food is great. Hadi is an amazing host, the turtle excursion he booked for us was the highlight of our trip to Java. We hope to visit again!
