Ketut was kind enough to pick me up from the airport and stop at trusted stores to pick up phone sim cards and takeaway lunch from an amazing Warung. Don't exchange your money at the airport like I did - they short-changed me - if I'd known I would have gone to one of the plenty of better options around town that Ketut was happy to drive me to. Samblung Mas House is a hidden gem and I look forward to my next stay there.

The area is quiet, but the location is really good, close to the beach, the restaurants, the supermarkets and the Icon shopping mall. The room was much better than I expected for the price: spacious, really clean, good furniture, super comfortable bed, big bathroom. They provide water, tea, and coffee in the room. There's even an umbrella, which was super helpful since I came during the rainy season. Totally recommend
