Centrally located, very easy transport to/from the airport, tons of nice cafes, bars and restaurants around, and very conveniently connected by public transport to all the major sightseeing places and the public baths. We were checking late, so there was no staff around, but they made sure we had perfect instructions with pictures and explanations how to get our keys. The rooms were spacious and clean, with complimentary coffee and tea. We loved our stay at Opera 16!

Location was excellent, a short 10 min walk from the big Ferris Wheel & Deak Ferenc Ter (square) where the airport 100e bus drops you off as the last stop. Easy to find via Google maps & key codes all worked perfectly every time. Turn left out of the accommodation & you were at the Danube after a few mins walk with access to trams etc; turn right & you were at the Metro station after a few minutes walk, one stop away from the main hub at Deak Ferenc Ter, to head off in lots of different directions. Metro system very easy to use & cheap (download BudapestGo app). Lots of restaurants nearby & only a short walk to the Chain Bridge. Ghida was a lovely host, contactable & very helpful if you needed anything but otherwise left you to it. Room with a double bed was clean, spacious & warm, shower just right! Big jug of water left & topped up on request, some sweets, coffee machine as well. Own key to lock my room & a key for the outside lock. Even though in the middle of restaurants & a minor road outside, it was amazingly quiet at night, so slept very well! A lot of places are walkable from this base, Parliament Building & St Stephen's Basilica nearby.
