We loved the location in the center of Vrboska near marina in an old stone house for our family of five (three children aged between 2 and 7). Fully equipped apartment, including washing machine and dishwasher, stocked kitchenware, towels, etc. so really not much else to ask for. Our host even welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and was at disposal to help in any way during our stay. We also had a private terrace with a dining table and spacious enough to store our bikes. Nice beaches nearby, even sandy which children love, but using bikes to get there was much easier than walking and we wouldn't bother driving. While there was only one separate bedroom where we slept with our youngest child, the older two children slept on a big sofa in the main room so the apartment is perfectly suitable even for a family with three young children. Public parking lot is about 300 meters away with plenty of space, that’s where we parked the whole time. There’s a smaller one close to the apartment, which the host recommended we use, but it’s not always free and the road to get there is somewhat narrow, so we didn’t bother. The public lot worked just fine for us. Overall we had a great stay and if/when we return to the island of Hvar we'd be perfectly happy to choose Guest house Lucijo again.

The town centre of Hvar is 1 km away. This is a private room, with a shared bath, in a private home in Hvar. You do not go through the private home to get to your room, felt super private. That being said, the owner, Bruno, is awesome and feels like he could be a friend. helpful/informative/friendly, etc. I booked super last minute and he picked me up in his car from the ferry, which was so helpful. House is at the top of the hill, easy walk to town every evening, and little path down to the beach on the other side. Perfect location for me. He has coffee/light snacks out, and it's just overall a really warm place to stay. I extended my stay as I decided I love Hvar, and the whole experience was perfect.
