Villa Riva is a 4-star property set in Jelsa, facing the sea. The property has city views and is 700 metres from Fontana Beach and 31 km from St. Stephen's Cathedral in Hvar. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. The location couldn’t have been more convenient. Hop off the ferry and walk 2 minutes and there it was with Marje waiting for us. It was cool outside but the heater inside was wonderful. The shower was great. We felt at home.

Maria, our host was very nice and welcomed us with her hart. Apartment was a bit older but everything set-up nicely and practical. It is pretty big and had nice balcony with great view of the fortress. It is located close to ferry port and bus station. Yes, there are steps to take. Beware. But it is trully good value and priceless croatian hospitality.

It offers brightly furnished studios and rooms, with free WiFi access available. Location, the apartment is super clean and comfortable. Beds are good. The hosts are great and super accommodating.

We loved the location in the center of Vrboska near marina in an old stone house for our family of five (three children aged between 2 and 7). Fully equipped apartment, including washing machine and dishwasher, stocked kitchenware, towels, etc. so really not much else to ask for. Our host even welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and was at disposal to help in any way during our stay. We also had a private terrace with a dining table and spacious enough to store our bikes. Nice beaches nearby, even sandy which children love, but using bikes to get there was much easier than walking and we wouldn't bother driving. While there was only one separate bedroom where we slept with our youngest child, the older two children slept on a big sofa in the main room so the apartment is perfectly suitable even for a family with three young children. Public parking lot is about 300 meters away with plenty of space, that’s where we parked the whole time. There’s a smaller one close to the apartment, which the host recommended we use, but it’s not always free and the road to get there is somewhat narrow, so we didn’t bother. The public lot worked just fine for us. Overall we had a great stay and if/when we return to the island of Hvar we'd be perfectly happy to choose Guest house Lucijo again.
