Posada Don Julio is a fantastic place to stay, offering breathtaking views of the lake. The house is practically on the water, creating a serene and unique atmosphere. The family running the posada is incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s important to note that the house is not located in Flores itself but on the opposite side of the lake. To get there, you’ll need to take a small local boat that runs every five minutes for just 10Q. This adds an extra touch of charm and adventure to your stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. While the WiFi is typical for Guatemala—not very strong—it’s enough for basic needs around 5-6 Mbps Overall, it’s a wonderful experience for those looking to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the lake and the warmth of local hospitality. Highly recommended!

Lovely, clean place with good WiFi and free water, spacious room and comfortable beds. It's not "in" Flores, you need to take a 5 minute boat ride - which we were 100% ok with but just be advised of this in case you thought you were booking a place actually in Flores.

A great house in a gated community opposite the airport and next door to a good shopping mall. Clean and well equipped comminal kitchen. Ample room with comfy bed, nice linens and hot water in the shower. Airconditioningnin room was perfect. Streaming options available to log into on the Smart TV. Excellent secure parking.

It's a family run hotel. They work, live, wash, cook and eat there. So, don't be surprised that you are watched non stop. The first day, it was rather disturbing. After, I got accustomed. In any case, the family is very nice and ever occupied, especially in keeping the hotel proper. Our room 6 was well located, with good view. Good A/C, wifi. Hot shower with relatively good water pressure. Possibility to cook and to store the food in the fridge. About the noise of cats and, dogs in night and cocks from 4 a.m., iyou can do nothing. It's a fact. So, we passed 3 days there and were delighted. Muchas gracias

Modern facilities, they offer you a good breakfast, they offer you tours at affordable prices, they offer you privacy in the rooms with curtains. They have a small pool to cool off in your afternoon. I was at the Los Amigos hostel and I changed to this one because of the good comments and it is definitely worth it.

Clean, Air con great, pillows and bed comfy. Hosts good Locations good. I was worried because they only had one review.. but booked because price was good and it was very good value for money! Not sure why they don’t have more reviews but would stay again for sure.
