The location is superb, right at the port. The owners are incredibly nice people and hard at work to give you a good experience. It is a family property that goes back over 100 years, I am told. It has the feel of a very old place and that may turn some people off. But it was no issue for us. We loved being here and having some wonderful conversations with the owners. They are very good people!

It’s right on the main strip so easy to find when you get off of the ferry. There’s a little beach across the road with chairs and umbrellas and a small market close by. Close to all the restaurants and shops.

This is located right next to the port, which was very good as we needed to catch a ferry the next morning. The man who checked us in was extremely attentive to our needs and very friendly. We really appreciated his help. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. There were a couple of restaurants on the street next door, and one little supermarket. One interesting challenge is that an Orthodox Church is right next door and the bells started going off from 7:00 to 9:30 as they did a liturgy. It was a bit challenging to sleep in during that.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay in Skopelos. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, always available to offer support or suggestions. The entire family was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable – exactly what you’d hope for on a relaxing holiday. The location was peaceful and quiet. 5 min driving to center or 15-20 min walk. Another big plus: there's a large and affordable supermarket nearby, which was incredibly convenient. We also appreciated having private parking available right in the courtyard – no stress about finding a spot! The room was equiped with air conditioner, sealing fans, insect blocking screens at the doors and windows, good shower and spacious room. Garden with lots of trees and some cats, chickens and a neighbor goat or lamb which was happy to consume all our vegetal leftovers :) All in all, a perfect stay. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Skopelos.

We liked the accommodation as it is in a very quiet garden, with lots of trees. We could feel the love and passion put by the hosts in making the hotel and garden always clean, interesting and equipped with literally everything you need in the rooms. The hosts even have bicycles ready for you if you don’t want to walk to the beach. This is the most equipped studio I’ve seen in 18 years of visiting Greece. You can really get a good rest at Spiros rooms and enjoy your vacation. Gioula is a super host, she is very kind and makes your day beautiful with her kindness. She even cooked for us pies and sweets and gave us some small presents when we left. Thank you for everything, Gioula! You made us feel like home!

Close to the center but far from the noise, it was like a piece of heaven, with a green oasis around it. Filippa and her family was super kind, the apartman was always tidy and clean.

The owners went above and beyond for our stay. They picked and dropped us off at the ports. Suggested where we should go for dinner, lunch, and breakfast.

The beautiful view and charming room and balcony is worth the climb through the charming traditional streets. Lovely Taverna near by, called Kastello Taverna, which our host recommended. Dina, the lovely host provided us with a bottle of wine as it was our honeymoon, and we had a beautiful time. Would shout and tell everyone about this, if I wasn't planning to come back myself!

Evanthia made us feel so welcome. The room and studio were clean, comfortable, fresh and thoughtfuly equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the sitting out areas very pleasant. We found everything we needed to cook a simple meal in the studio kitchen. The garden setting and greenery all around made it very peaceful and relaxing. We loved the flower scents, the garden bookshelf and sitting areas, in addition to those of our rooms. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and was perfect for a swim before breakfast, as well as a day on the beach. The bay, particularly on the right hand side, is so beautiful with rocks, little caves and pine trees above. The little village has three places to eat, which between them give a really good range from pizza (we had a takeaway and ate it on the beach) to an upmarket seafood restaurant. The bay faces west, so the restaurants are perfect for a sunset view. There is also a small minimarket with basics and some fresh fruit and vegetables. The location was really good for exploring the island and for getting to and from Skopelos town. We really enjoyed the couple of hikes that we did, including across the island to the Mama Mia church. In summary, we can highly recommend Stamatia's Garden and hope to be back again next year. Thank you Evanthia, and see you soon!
