The guest house features family rooms. genuine booking. just across the street from Anfield. squicky clean place. rooms have private bathrooms (mandatory for me) has a nice garden in the back. Lyndsay (the host) is very friendly and helpful even found me a last minute ticket for the LFC game. overall money well spend.

The residence was extremely pleasant to stay in with good heating and well stocked kitchen. The bathroom had great water pressure and it was large. The railway station is one minute walk with trains direct to Liverpool city center. The TV was huge and had free movie options. Overall a great place to stay. All was good. The area is historic in nature with great walking areas throughout Port Sunlight. The art gallery is especially impressive and the local pubs and restaurants are excellent.

Especially for easy access to Birkenhead ferry port, the Wirral and Liverpool. Excellent facilities in the coach house which is a separate detached building from the main house (which itself is so impressive inside). We stayed in room Flora (ground floor) with easy access to the gardens and patio area (great for our dogs). The coach house also has its own lovely lounge area and kitchen/ dining room 👍🏼 There's also easy parking and lovely grounds surrounding the house. The 24hr complimentary Continental Breakfast was superb 👍🏼.. which was great for us as we arrived late. Will definitely want to stay again ♥️

The room was comfy, everything was clean, the owner very kind and the place very quiet. It had plenty of details like shampoo and bath gel, boiler, coffee, milk, still water. The room is in a private area for clients, etc. Besides the beach for a nice morning walk. I forgot my earphones and the owner called me to ask my address to send them. Very good quality-price.

Boasting quiet street views, Woodside Lodge features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 11 km from The Beatles Statue. Before moving abroad, I grew up in this region (Wirral) and so was familiar with the surroundings. With Woodside Lodge as my base, I was able to explore on foot the lively village of Irby. I ventured further to the pretty village of Thurstaston and then along the Wirral Coastal Path to West Kirby. A short walk from Woodside Lodge there is a bus stop for frequent busses over to Liverpool city centre. The host of Woodside Lodge was very welcoming and helpful about local eateries and pubs. In fact, just about everyone I met and spoke to in and around Irby appeared cheerful and friendly. Overall, it felt very good to be "home" again! I will certainly try to stay at Woodside Lodge on my next visit.
