The room was very nicely decorated, everything was new, with a nice window, comfortable bed and amenities like fridge and coffee/tea. Enough plugs everywhere and even usb en usb-c connections. Our bathroom was outside the room, in the same floor, private for us. We didn’t find it a problem that it wasn’t en suite. The bathroom was also new and beautiful, with a window and proper lighting. The property parking was also a good bonus. Really easy connection to the city center by 10-15’ bus, the bus stop was 5’ walk away, safe to walk at night as well. The owners were super friendly, very quick with communication and accommodating. We definitely recommend it!

The room I stayed in was very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. Even though there was no breakfast option, offering snacks was a really lovely touch. Bottled water was provided every day, and the room was cleaned regularly, which made me very happy. Additionally, having discounts at some local cafés nearby was a big plus.

I definitely recommend this guest house - there is a nearby bus stop, buses that take you straight to the city center for under 20 mins. Located in the Broughton district, the guest house is within 6.2 km of Arthurs Seat. Location was great. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. For breakfast we reccomend "Brunswick Bookclub". Room was located towards the back yard therefore very quiet. It was clean and nicely decorated. There were different pillows to choose from, the bed was comfy. Communication, check-in and check-out was easy and reliable.

Tom and Rowena were very friendly, caring and generous. We could checkin early and inside the guesthouse is decorated so well with beautiful art and artefacts. They serve hot scrumptious breakfast of your choice from the menu. We loved Rowena’s home baked sour bread . They use organic eggs and other high quality ingredients. Bus stop was just a minute’s walk.

Sinead and Chris are probably the best hosts in the world. I slept across the hall from the kitchen / breakfast area and they were able to be very quiet! It's 1min walking to the beach and 3min to the bus stop. The bed was so comfy. The shower nice and hot. For breakfast you can have the usual plus some scottish options, all delicious. Felt safe the whole time as a solo traveller (including bus trip at night). 10/10.
