The location couldn’t be better — just a short distance from the city centre while still being in a calm and quiet neighbourhood. The room was spotless, warm, and very comfortable. Ollie was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with anything I needed. The kitchen facilities were excellent, the whole place had a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, and I genuinely felt right at home. If I return to Edinburgh, this will definitely be my first choice. Highly recommended!

In general, accommodation around Edinburgh is quite expensive so we found this place which was relatively affordable compared to other places and had a high rating. It is a house-turned-b&b, has 3 small rooms and a nice small dining room. Everything was super clean and Lorna was the friendliest host we have ever met. She gives you a small form to fill every night to get your breakfast preferences and time to eat. Her cooking is lovely. Definitely recommend her full Scottish breakfast with Haggis. She cooked the best haggis out of the 3 restaurants we tried. The only downside was that the place is quite far from the city (45 min bus ride - take X27) and there is only one bus that goes there but if you catch it and don't mind the travel time, it is definitely worth a stay.
