Escape to the Spanish countryside to find peace and quiet in the Posada el Corcal de Liébana. A place for good food and pure relaxation in some of Spain's most beautiful countryside. we came very late in the evening and our host kept the restaurant open for us. The meal was outstanding!

We arrived here while walking the Camino de Santiago and Pensión La Terraza was the perfect place to unwind and restore for the next day. We enjoyed the afternoon by the pool so much, and we had one of our best meals in the restaurant in the evening. (Particular shout out to the goat cheese salad and the bacalau al pisto!) Also our rooms and breakfast were both wonderful!

There is a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Beautiful location by the lake, nice restaurant / bar, clean rooms, kind and helpful owner that can speak English and helped us practice Spanish and recommend a good mechanic for our car. Great area for walking / biking.
