Clean and good bathroom, comfy bed, no-noise refrigerator, desk for sitting comfortably with notebook, regular buses to and from city center. Oaiana welcomed me and gave good tips about the transport system, very positive person!

Of course the location and facilities are great, but what special about this place is their amazing hospitality. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to staff “Ana” and “Amaia”. Ana welcomed us and gave us lots of recommendations of the city and celebrated my mom’s birthday. That was so sweet:) I left my important belongings at the hotel and they helped me a lot to deliver It to me. Thank you so much for everything:)

Located just 45 metres from San Sebastian Convention Centre and the Auditorium, Pensión Kursaal offers bright rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. The location was accessible- 10mins from Old Town and just opposite the beach. It was very clean. The receptionist was super friendly, helpful, and gave us tips regarding San Sebastian.

Maider and Jeffrey were very great and super nice hosts! The accomodation is really rural (forest) and you have great hiking spots nearby! Perfectly to escape the city life. Overall a nice stay :)

At the suggestion of Correos, we started our Bilbao segment of the Camino del Norte at the Guggenheim Museum and followed the path along the Nervion River the entire distance to Gexto. Gexto Rooms was chosen primarily due to its proximity to the Vizcaya Bridge (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), but was much more! This small hotel seems to be newly renovated with great attention to detail and hospitality. Bathroom was modern and clean and roomy. Bed was very comfortable and linens were of nice quality. Our hosts were gracious, accommodating, and interested in providing a fine stay, which it was! Note for pilgrims: Though not the "official" Way, this alternate route made for an easy warm-up day to begin our hike to Santander. Civil improvements being made to the pedestrian walkway have softened this largely industrial zone and a Lidl supermarket, located about 5 miles in, carried any beverages or snacks you might wish to stock up on. Arriving in Las Arenas early in the afternoon allowed for a relaxed start to our week and time to enjoy the town's beach promenade and sample plenty of pinchos! The following morning, we crossed over to Portugalete via the gondola— an experience that we would've otherwise missed! The Camino's yellow arrow was easy to find on the other side.

All the amenities are there and of good quality. I had an excellent sleep. Everything seems new and works perfectly. A big plus is the spacious parking space inside the yard. A coffee maker with capsules and an assortment of cookies and cakes to go with the coffee. Strong wifi. I am sorry i do not recall the name of the host but he is very amable and helpful. I would definitely stay again here when travelling to Donostia by myself or as a couple.

Mendi Azpi Rooms are close to the centre of Mutriku, everything you need is in short walking distance. From the room you can step directly into a nice garden which is right by the road but that is no prob as it does not disturb at all. The room itself was fantastic, very comfy and immaculate. Sleeping quality was excellent. You can use a small coffee maker and a microwave (in which you can prepare yourself a delicious ready-made tortilla, bought from one of the shops in town).

It's beautifully decorated and really comfortable. The terrace was so nice to sit out on, even in the rain as it's completely covered. A big thanks to our host for showing us the walking route into town. And we had a lot of fun playing with the puppy.

The house is impeccable, extreme attention to detail for the guests comfort; the bed and pillows were of absolute highest quality, I wished I could have stayed there longer just to sleep and rest; the bathroom very clean, great shower, monogrammed towels. Very quiet. I had to leave at dawn to the airport, and it couldn’t have been more conveniently located to drive. I will return to Lekuona.
