The property is well located at the edge of the Tunis village with an amazing view on the village and the Qaroun lake from the Roof. It is nicely designed, peaceful and quiet. The houses and the Roof blend well with the local environment, paying special attention to sustainability. Rooms have nice outdoor terraces. The fireplace in the Roof proved very useful at night and created a nice atmosphere to sit outside. Our room had a comfortable bed and good quality linens that allowed us very good sleep. The hosts are very friendly and provide useful tips to exploring the area, eating and getting around.

We had a peaceful time in Tzila. Loved the ambience, the quiet, and the location. It is located close to the touristic destinations (Wadi Al Hitan, Wadi Al Rayyan, Qaroon lake). The neighborhood itself is quiet, green, and full of pottery schools/ workshops. It's great to see the life of the locals, take a few pictures of the local mural art. The lodge is designed based on traditional old Fayoumi building style, so you can take pictures there, too. There was a breakfast included in the stay. The lodge also had some lunch options. The room cleaning is for an extra fee. The Internet situation in the whole Fayoum is not good (no wifi), so before traveling remember to get a sim card with a decent data package.

The breakfast was super and abondant, we enjoyed the bougainvileas in the garden, our spacious terasse and the friendly cats.
