The location and the pension was very quiet and calm. Parking was excellent. Access to the autobahn was quick and easy. The hosts were excellent.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. This is easily the best stay we had on our entire trip. The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent, the property is conveniently located close to hiking trails and the village has a very relaxed feel. We will be back for longer. Highly recommended!

The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and even though the bathroom was shared (as we knew in advance), it was exceptionally clean. We’ll definitely be back!
