It’s fun watching all the big boats go through the locks in the evening while having a glass of wine/ beer/ coffee -Honor refrigerator with beer and wine - rooms were good with very comfortable beds, nice tv, bathroom shower had good pressure and a shower mat ( thank you). Our rooms both had a balcony with table and 2 chairs - breakfast was very good..hard boiled eggs, assorted meats, breads, jams, fresh fruit, cereals, juices..etc..(10 euro per person) The breakfast area is light and airy - if Angela has time ask to see her collection of beautiful stained glass Tiffany lamps in the cellar!

Boasting a garden and views of quiet street, Hanne's Gästestudio is a recently renovated homestay situated in Osann-Monzel, 32 km from Arena Trier. It is located 34 km from Trier Central Station and provides an ATM. The homestay also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Hanne had made sure I could find the key and had left a kind mote for me. The flat was great and the breakfast she provided was delicious, especially the home made müsli and home made jam. She is such a kind and helpful person. There were some snacks I could buy for the next day and it was great to be able to have a cup of tea. It was comfortable, peaceful and had plenty of room. Hanne offered to drive us to a restaurant or we could have ordered pizza
