All units are fitted with a fridge, kitchenware, a kettle, a shower, free toiletries and a wardrobe. Some units have a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain or garden views. At the homestay, each unit has bed linen and towels. An amazing place to stay in a tiny, friendly, peaceful village, about a 10 minute drive from the Monte Gordo national park. The rooms were huge and comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was probably the best equipped I have ever seen, and we were made to feel very welcome by Tanha. If you like self catering, then this definitely one of the best places to stay. If you prefer to eat out, just be aware that there is only one tiny cafe in the village. It’s also great if you like to hike as there are a number of hikes that start near the property, or a short taxi / aluguer ride away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting São Nicolau and a big thank you to our hosts!
