The bed was more comfortable than in some 5-star hotels. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, varied, and filling. Plus, access to a washing machine was a great bonus!

A recently renovated homestay situated in Fenghuang, Fenghuang Ancient Town Lazy Cat Riverside Inn features a terrace. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Super convenient location. A stairway away from the entrance to Phoenix town, which makes it very easy to take a taxi, and a 5 min walk to Hongqiao bridge. Liù was an absolute top host; she recommended amazing lunch spots, the main must-sees and even went with me on a very late batik shopping sprint. The room is occupied by the massive and most comfy bed with a great view to the river - keep this in mind if you are carrying big luggage, there may not be a lot of space, but it is manageable. There is an electric kettle, complementary bottles of water, tea and instant coffee. Also, Liù offered a welcome basket of fruit! The bathroom was squeaky clean and toiletries were provided: shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes and combs. I wish I had stayed longer.

They treated my husband and myself liked part of his family. I strongly recommend this hotel. 5 mins walk away from the river and very quiet. They serve lunch or dinner, has to pre-order a day ahead. Love their cooking. Must try.

The property features city views and is 11 km from Tianmenshan National Forest Park and 17 km from Tianmen Mountain. The homestay offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Host lady is so helpful. She picked me from airport and booked all the sightseeing tickets for me. Also she explained very well how to cover the sightseeing points. Property is located walking distance from main cable car station of Mt Taishan.

Not enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was and to what extent the host went to making us feel welcomed and ensure our trip went smoothly. We landed way earlier than expected at the airport but the host already arranged for timely pick up and upon reaching at the hotel, accomodated us in the room. On top of that, made brunch to welcome us. We already had our tickets to the national forest park but the host provided a customised route based on our entry point to the park. The route plan was so detailed, we got around really easily while visiting everything we wanted. I’m also vegetarian and had lunch and dinner at the property everyday. The host even customized some menu items to make them vegetarian so I can enjoy different types of meals!! The hotel is in a great location, providing an extraordinary view of the mountains. We were lucky to enjoy the spectacular views in different weather conditions during our stay. Located at a proximity to the Zhangjiajie National Forest park, it takes only around 10 mins to reach the South gate and around 30 mins to reach the East gate. Note that the host also provides free shuttle to the park but I also wanted to update on the DIDI comment. Didi is accessible to and from the location. Hotel is also equipped with modern facilities and very well maintained. After a visit to the surrounding attractions, soaking in the jacuzzi while enjoying the views was so relaxing. Overall would definitely recommend and surely come back again during winter to enjoy snow and the mountains.

She also helped me map out my route since I was going by myself without a guide. She was very friendly!! Great location - about 10 minutes from the east gate by walking. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

What an awesome experience! We got picked up by the host at the station and from there we got really treated awesome by this wonderful family. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! Rooms and facilities were clean, modern and spacious. Pool was also really clean. I can really recommend this Home Stay as this was a great experience!!! Perfect view on the mountains and heavens gate.
