Clean and comfortable and friendly hosts with knowledge of the area. Liked the location outside of Lucerne centre. Easy to walk to if you like walking and bus stop 10mins walk away if not.

Nisihof is an oasis of calm. We are a family of four (our daughters are 6 and 3 years old), and after a long day in the car, arriving at Nisihof immediately gave us a relaxed feeling. The surroundings, the lounge area, the ambiance — everything invites you to unwind. The room was very cozy with comfortable beds, and although the bathroom is shared, it was exceptionally clean. After putting the kids to bed, we could enjoy some drinks and snacks from the bar. Definitely a place we recommend — whether you’re on your way to your final destination or just looking for a few days of relaxation.

The villa is an exclusive area - just out the tourist-filled Lucerne but close enough to get to places and do everything you want to (20 mins on the 21 bus). A Perfect Experience!! My wife and I arrived in the pouring rain to a wonderful stay! Mr. Menberg helped us with our heavy luggage and he didn't have to, made sure we were dried off, and we went to our room. We were treated like family and told that we could help ourselves to anything, pointing out where everything was. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with the most stunning view of the snow-capped mountains that were picture perfect from the balcony, which could be on a postcard for Lucerne, really. That was one of the true highlights of our stay. The place was sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of traveling from Asia and America. Overall, our stay at this homestay was perfect. The Menbergs went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and we truly felt like we wer at home. We can't recommend this place highly enough!
