We are a family of four (our daughters are 6 and 3 years old), and after a long day in the car, arriving at Nisihof immediately gave us a relaxed feeling. The surroundings, the lounge area, the ambiance — everything invites you to unwind. The room was very cozy with comfortable beds, and although the bathroom is shared, it was exceptionally clean. After putting the kids to bed, we could enjoy some drinks and snacks from the bar. Definitely a place we recommend — whether you’re on your way to your final destination or just looking for a few days of relaxation.

The spacious rooms at Gasthaus zum Kreuz are non-smoking. All feature wooden furniture, cable TV, and a bathroom. Received a free upgrade to a room with an evening view of the sunset on the mountains. The room was huge! Bed was comfy and held multiple pillows. Robert was very conscientious and remembered our breakfast order every day. Easy transport into Luzern. Would highly recommend staying here.

We arrived during sunset time and I couldn’t get my eyes off the view for a second. Markus is very welcoming and friendly, we got everything we need during the stay. The bed and pillow were the best in my entire trip that I had a nice sleep.

Mr. Menberg helped us with our heavy luggage and he didn't have to, made sure we were dried off, and we went to our room. We were treated like family and told that we could help ourselves to anything, pointing out where everything was. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with the most stunning view of the snow-capped mountains that were picture perfect from the balcony, which could be on a postcard for Lucerne, really. That was one of the true highlights of our stay. The place was sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of traveling from Asia and America. Overall, our stay at this homestay was perfect. The Menbergs went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and we truly felt like we wer at home. We can't recommend this place highly enough!
