There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. It was well situated. Not too far from the village, but far enough away to feel the peace of the beautiful scenery without the hustle and bustle of the various tour groups arriving and departing. It’s also a bit closer to the starting point for the hike to Valbona if you’re heading that way, and you’re able to navigate the little trails in and around the hotel. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to welcome and make our 3 year old son feel a part of their family. The meals were exceptional and though some dishes were repeated, we chose to eat at the hotel each night we were there because of the quality and volume of food provided for the price.

This is a new guesthouse with comfy rooms and very good showers (there is good water pressure in the shower, not something to take for granted in a place like Theth). The breakfast was nice, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. There is also a small fridge in the room. Definitely recommend staying here :)

Friendly staff, late check-in possible, brand new room/bathroom, very clean, nice view from the balcony (see picture), free parking on property, good wifi, drinks for purchase, Euro accepted for payment, breakfast delivered to room (basic but good: eggs, veggies, bread, coffee, juice). Good value for money. More like a homestay than a common hotel.

During your time staying in this recently renovated guest house, dating back to 2015, you will have access to free WiFi. The accommodation offers a lift, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. I had booked one night before and one night after my trip to Valbona/Theth. However, the first night I got relocated to another place because there was some problem with the electricity in the room that I had booked. This was not a problem at all for me because that room was also nice and nearby and Niko the host communicated with me about it so I knew where I would go. I could also leave some of my luggage there during my hiking trip and Niko transported it for me to Enea  Room where it waited for me when I got back. The room was nice, clean and comfortable and the communication with Niko was good throughout and he even texted me to check if everything was ok, or if I needed anything.

At the guest house, the units have bed linen and towels. We had a lovely stay, the beds and room were comfortable, it was super clean and the parking was a plus. The family host were all so welcoming and helpful, they provided lots of great recommendations. I would definitely come back ☺️

Boasting garden views, The Hideaway Guesthouse features accommodation with a garden, around 46 km from Port of Bar. The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Really kind and friendly host. When we arrived we got fruits and cold drinks it was nice. You can park behind the gate. In the room was a small fridge, which is perfect in hot days and another on the floor with drinking water and juice.. Breakfast was excellent the best we had in Albania. (Traditioal: Dolma jarak and petulla with homemade marmalade)
