The family didn't speak much English, but they were very nice and we were able to communicate anyways. The room was exactly as the pictures, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok.

The accommodation is not far from the top, where there are open top cafes/restaurants with panoramic views. Further below, several more restaurants (especially like the one with a wine bell). The property overlooks Berat new town with its huge and busy promenade. The owner is a professor who has studied Albanian history and staying here encompasses a lot of that history. The hosts are lovely and passionate about their Albanian heritage. The room has a very comfortable and large double bed, with good aircon and wifi. There is a communal lounge with tea/coffee making facilities.

Location is great, house has soul with sculptures of the owner adding unique experience. Breakfast was very good, but the best was eating it on the balcony with stunning view. Host is very friendly and gave us usefull info about the house history and the town. We forgot few things there, and she send us all back to Slovenia on her costs🙏

This room was gorgeous! We had a little table and view of the town out the front and there is also a shared terrace. The room was marvellous and clean with kettle and tea and a fridge. There was some toiletries in the bathroom and the bathroom was really modern and had a great shower! The view and charm of the place is sensational and 10/10 for us. It was traditional but also modern inside. We enjoyed some wine on the balcony and the lady who owns/lives there happend to be home nearby so popped over to offer us some home made raki and a sweet tasting liquor fruit. So sweet of her. She was lovely during check in. We got lost along the way (our fault) and she must have waited around 20 odd minutes for us to arrive and was super patient and helpful about it. I really reccomend the location too- it was nice to be on that side of the river- more peaceful with a good view of berat but only an easy 5 minutes walk to reach the bridge and walk over to Berat where there were plenty of bars and restaurants. There was also places on our side too- to the left a couple of mins including a fantastic cocktail bar. 10/10 place. Stay here!
