Just one note: to be rewarded with the stunning views, there is a short but steep walk uphill through the little alleyways with your luggage – but it is absolutely worth it.

Although we got here by mistake and were supposed to stay in another guest house, this friendly family welcomed us with open arms and glasses of fresh orange juice from the oranges out of their garden. The room was super clean and calming, as was the bathroom, that had the most amazing shower. In the afternoon we were able to sunbath on our balcony, which had a breathtaking view on Tomorri Mountain and the rest of the landscape. We slept like babies without any noise from the neighbourhood and got breakfast in bed the next morning as well as an escort to the bus terminal. We would definitely recommend this guest house to everyone looking for relaxation and exploration of the old city.

The guest house has family rooms. Ada is the nicest person. We felt like we were staying with a friend. She recommended we eat at Friendly Restaurant and it was one of the best meals we’ve had on this trip. The view from the terrace is spectacular. Pictures don’t do it justice. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The rooms are fitted with a balcony with views of the mountain. This room was gorgeous! We had a little table and view of the town out the front and there is also a shared terrace. The room was marvellous and clean with kettle and tea and a fridge. There was some toiletries in the bathroom and the bathroom was really modern and had a great shower! The view and charm of the place is sensational and 10/10 for us. It was traditional but also modern inside. We enjoyed some wine on the balcony and the lady who owns/lives there happend to be home nearby so popped over to offer us some home made raki and a sweet tasting liquor fruit. So sweet of her. She was lovely during check in. We got lost along the way (our fault) and she must have waited around 20 odd minutes for us to arrive and was super patient and helpful about it. I really reccomend the location too- it was nice to be on that side of the river- more peaceful with a good view of berat but only an easy 5 minutes walk to reach the bridge and walk over to Berat where there were plenty of bars and restaurants. There was also places on our side too- to the left a couple of mins including a fantastic cocktail bar. 10/10 place. Stay here!
