It was a clean, comfortable room with heating, which was essential at this time of year. The staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived from Hanoi very early, before 4 a.m., and the place was open, so I was able to rest in the lobby before check-in. After check-out on my last day, I had a late overnight bus back to Hanoi. I spent the day in Sa Pa before departure, and before leaving, the host kindly offered me the use of a shower!

Instead of staying in the city we decided to spend a few days in the countryside in De Mong Sapa. I think we made a good decision. We went on two treks, a 6 hour and a 3 hour one, and got to know the valley from both sides. The fact that there is a restaurant on site was very convenient. Hosts organized great guides and transportation to the city for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at De Mong Homestay. If you're looking for peace and serenity, this is the perfect place! This place is just pure happiness and has the best view through the windows of the rooms. We also loved the food and drinks. And they have the best and cutest Dog and Cat ever😍 Big thank you to the great Host, they are the kindest and incredibly helpful people we met !! Thank you for the great time we had and we definitely come back 😊

This is an authentic home stay experience with very basic facilities. Mama Gia's family are warm and welcoming. Great food for all meals, and a fabulous emersive experience. Discuss with the family, trekking from Sapa Town to the homestay, approx 12km on the more direct route, or longer trek can be organised. Both can include a swim.

If you are looking for a home stay near Sa Pa then this time place is the place to go to. Family running homestay with the best people! We had family dinner and next day they organised a hike to neighbour villages. They also helped me to book a trip since I was having trouble booking it on my own. Nguyen thank you for your help! 🫶🏼

The room had a nice balcony and beautiful view of the paddy fields. The room was simple but had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Our host Su was very warm and accommodating, helping us to arrange the transport, booking of bus tickets and walking trip to the nearby villages. Group dinner at the homestay was heartwarming and fun. I highly recommend this homestay if you want to get in touch with nature, interact with the locals, understand more about their daily livelihood.

Super nice homestay with great hosts! The weather is cold but the people and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A good place to explore the surounding countryside but also to unwind away of all the vietnamese hustle and bustle. Also great food and cooking class!
