One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the owner – he went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I arrived in the middle of the night around 2am, and he was instantly responsive on WhatsApp, guiding me and making sure the keys were easy to find. That kind of care really made a difference. He also took the time to have a coffee with me and shared great advice about traveling in North Vietnam. Later, he even helped me send some lost items all the way to Thailand – truly exceptional service. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was great, and the whole space felt cozy and well thought out. I also really enjoyed the balcony – it overlooks a local school, which gives the mornings a nice, lively feel. Perfect for sipping a coffee and watching the city wake up. The location is ideal too – super central, with easy access to everything you might need in Hanoi. I’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed one week at Tranquillity Stay. The hotel is very well located, in the heart of the old quarter. Even if the streets of the neighborhood are busy and noisy we didn’t hear any noise from our room. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. The host was the best, he gave us very good recommendations. He helped us get from the airport to the homestay (our flight arrived at 5h30am) and hold our luggage until the room was ready. The actual room was very clean and the little balcony with chairs was very nice to relax in. We had everything we needed and our stay was very nice :)

Loved my stay here. Rooms are basic but have everything you need, it was a really good size and the bed was super comfy. Everything was clean and the aircon worked really well. The shared bathroom was only shared between two rooms and was clean with good toiletries. The owner was super helpful and waited for me to arrive on a last minute booking. The location is also great, just behind train street, with a big convenience store just across the street and lots of other useful shops/restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended and wish I'd stayed here rather than the more expensive but rubbish hotel I used on my previous stay.
