This place is incredible. The crew were very welcoming and warm, the room was beautiful and full of detail, including a window to the sea below the floating home, and many carefully designed spots to just lay down and enjoy the landscape. They arranged all the transportation for us, even picking is up at Viet Hai after a cruise trip, and trip back to Hanoi by boat/taxi/bus. Besides the human side, what is most stunning in this place is the fact that you get to spend the night in a really unique settlement, call the 'supermarket boat' if you need anything, or sail to a fisherman house to buy some fish to cook for yourself, getting a glimpse of the life in this special corner of earth. I would recommend it in a thousand lifes!

We has an amazing time in cat ba. They help us organize the buses to come from Hanoi and to go to Ha giang (with pick up and drop of at your accommodation) We booked the boat day trip which was great ! We followed the map that they show us and use a motorbike around the island. The prices were good and everything was perfect for us.

We loved this beautiful homestay. Rooms are spacious and clean and Truong and his wife we're lovely hosts. Their little coffee shop makes great coffees, teas and meals. The homestay is close to all amenities, if you should need anything, don't hesitate to ask, your hosts will always help and they speak great English!

The owner and his family were super accommodating with us. Great location, next to everything and comfortable rooms. We loved that the owner could give us a ride to the National Park nearby (no Grab in Cat ba !) Bonus : the homestay serves the best coffee we had in Cat Ba. The owner told me that he is a coffee lover and chooses his beans carefully. He confirmed me that you can still have coffee there, even if you don't sleep there!
