Homestays in Nukus

We had a great stay in one of the yurts—comfortable, clean, and a unique experience. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, letting us check in early after arriving by train in the morning. They also helped us with laundry and served a nice breakfast. The location is quiet but still convenient, just a short Yandex ride from the city. Would definitely recommend for a cozy and authentic stay!

I had such a comfortable stay at NIKA. Staying in a neighbourhood rather than downtown was much more relaxing, plus you can reach the museum through a quick marashtruka very close to the homestay. They even upgraded me to their VIP room free of charge. Definitely stay here!

All good! Friendly hosts, lots of space, close to centre, good restaurant opposite, quiet at night, reasonable wi-fi, free water, tea and coffee.

The property is in an elite part of town. Very comfortable and the girl running it very accommodative and hospitable, She let us use the kitchen to warm up our breakfast as well as let us have mugs and glasses in the room. The family that own the place seem very educated and well read. They were kind enough to lend me a kettle to make our morning tea too. The room was very spacious and big with a dressing area as well as a table and chair and enough plug points for charging. They also provide breakfast at a cost if requested.

I spent one night at Karpalakstan Hostel at the beginning of November during my trip to Nukus. A newly opened hostel is well equipped with all the facilities including clean bathrooms and toilets. They also have a kitchen and nice conference/dining room with Television. Admin Alimbek who speaks perfect English, also showed me a small documentary about the Aral sea during my stay. I reached the town a bit late in the evening and they picked me up from central Bazaar for free of cost. And the next morning he arranged a shared taxi from the hostel to Khiva through his local contacts at the best rate of 80000 som, saving me the hassle of going to the taxi station and negotiating. Alimbek also arranged a car from Muynak to Aral sea at the last moment a day before while we were in Muynak at the best rate among everyone in Muynak. And I must say the car was brand new and in excellent condition and the driver, though didn't speak English or Russian knew all the right spots for photography and made sure to stop along the way. The rooms, beds, bathrooms were extremely clean. Some of the best facilities in Uzbekistan. The staff went out of their way to return my wallet to me, it was so incredibly kind!
