The Bamboo House is absolutely stunning, and so relaxing. Not only do you have a beautiful room (with walk-in wardrobe, lovely bathroom) and a private balcony, you also have full (shared) use of downstairs areas to relax in - a lounge, huge kitchen, and an amazing outdoor space that is unreal. I just couldn’t believe how beautiful The Bamboo House is. I really wished I had booked longer!

The accommodation is really beautiful. It looks exactly like the photos and even more beautiful in real life. You feel very comfortable. Everything is organized and excellently equipped. The bathroom and kitchen are very spacious. The pool and loungers are clean and inviting. Nothing is missing. I was fascinated by the entrance to the house with the koi pond. The hosts are very friendly and you feel welcome. Your privacy is not compromised despite the shared bathroom and kitchen. It is simply beautiful there.

This is a brand-new and perfect residence. It feels like breathing together with this island in the Pacific Ocean and becoming one. The mind is bright and clear. You can rest peacefully and enjoy the view comfortably, watching the sunset by the sea. All around are the sounds of insects, birds and the wind blowing through the tropical jungle. The room is large and tidy, and incredibly clean. The kitchen is well-equipped with all kinds of appliances and seasonings. This place is a perfect home. And it only takes a few minutes by car to reach Walmart and many nice restaurants. Thanks to the landlord and the cleaning staff. This stay is unforgettable. The only regret is that I only planned to stay in Kona for one day. I really should have stayed here for the entire vacation.

Farsheed helped me in real-time by phone to navigate to his location as I had arrived after dark. It was a tremendous help and a relief that he literally walked me through the driving directions to his address, staying on the phone with me until I arrived, exhausted. This is a fantastic property to base yourself from and explore Kailua/kona and surrounding areas. The hosts have very thoughtfully kitted out and prepared the accommodation. The bed is very comfortable, the shower is spacious, the kitchen area pretty well kitted out, and has a comfortable lounge area. If you’re looking to prepare lots of your own meals, know that this property doesn’t have an oven and only a single ring hob, toaster plus microwave. Also if you’re looking for panoramic views from a balcony or similar, this cottage is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood just a short hop from Ali’i drive and you’d have to pay substantially more for those kind of views. The hosts were super responsive to mail questions and all in all I’d highly recommend this cottage.
