This Guesthouse is perfect for transit! My room was very tidy and big. The bathroom as well, with a good (hot water) shower. The staff is great and Zuchu a Pearl. She was very uncomplicated, full of energy& joy and let me feel to „be home“ from the first second on.

A perfect option near Stonetown on the way to the spice farms and Nungwi! We didn't make a mistake and didn't overpay for a similar level of comfort in Stonetown.

For the price this place was really great. It was a little hard to find but they reach out and give you contact details ahead of time. Its in a really central location but still quiet. Place was very clean and room was large. Had a shared bathroom which was cleaned often. Was only slightly more than a hostel but definitely a step up

It was wonderful being able to spend nights in an authentically traditional building with traditional rooms and furniture. It was an excellent way to explore the traditional architecture and decoration of old Zanzibar. The location is perfect. Just behind the famous praying temple and just 5 minutes to the water shores. The owner is very friendly and always eager to make your stay comfortable. The price is reasonable given the excellent location and the traditional environment. This place is a must!
