Great hostess, she was attentive and polite. There's a nearby lookout for sunrise, it was just too cloudy that day. At least we didn't have to deal with the crowd in the Alishan forest area for a sunrise view. Hot pot dinner is enough for 2 people, unless you're a big eater. The red tea is delicious. They sell their home-grown tea too, it's on the lighter side for taste. Breakfast is a giant fried chicken maryland with a few bread options. Espresso machine, soy milk, teas and instant coffee are available during breakfast as well. I would return again if I visit Alishan again in the future.

The family at the tea farm were so friendly and welcoming, and we had the best food here in our whole trip to Taiwan. It is only 15 minutes drive from the forest railway and there were lots of hiking trails nearby. The room was basic but fine, with a large shared lounge area. we were there when the weather was cold and there was a heater we could use.

Incredible view of the mountains, the room faces the right direction for sunrise! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the accommodation was spacious, clean and well designed. The staff also helped us to book an excellent local hotpot restaurant.
