De Saran is a hidden gem, we were pleasantly surprised when we booked this place as we wasn’t expecting much for the price but the room itself was very nice and had a lovely view overlooking koh Lanta, the owner Ake and his family went above and beyond at every opportunity to make sure we felt comfortable during our stay, perfect room for couples. We spent 5 nights as a couple at Lanta Par Hut and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. The place is ideally located, far from the noise in a peaceful neighbourhood but still only 10 minutes away from the best beaches in Koh Lanta. The bungalows are very confortable and well equipped (air conditioning, towels, comfortable bed, little terrasse, fridge, wifi,…) the biggest plus of this place is definitely the kindness of Red and his wife, the owners. They are very welcoming and can help on many aspects: scooter rental, organising bus transport to your next destination, activities, laundry,… The restaurant is amazing with lots of delicious food options! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks a lot for everything Red! Max and Pauline

Mr. Jim was the best host you could imagine. He brought bananas and amazing mango sticky rice in the morning, just because he wanted to. When I left my passport by accident, he went out of his way to get it back to me. He can arrange all kinds of activities for you and offers better services than other drivers. And aside from all of that, he is a great guy.
